It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Marcum of New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Marcum to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ruth L. Marcum and Oscar Marcum; his son Gary Joe Marcum; and his brothers, Jack, Bobby, Richard and Oscar Marcum (Junior).

He is survived by : his son Jamey Marcum (Terri) of New Castle; his grandchildren, Keith (Eliza) of Lake Oswego, OR, Alyssa Marcum (Bryan) of Washington, D. C., Zach Marcum of Greenfield, Jordan Goodin (Cameron) of New Castle and Logan Marcum of New Castle; and his great grandchildren, Gwen, Fiona Marcum of Lake Oswego, OR, Evelynn Marcum of Middletown, Colten, Camren Marcum of Greenfield, Ava Norris, Grant and Colson Goodin of New Castle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rose City Funeral Home (2011 Broad St, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 at 4:00 PM and at 5:00 PM at the same location.
