He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Tuggle and Mary Fern Tuggle (Davis); his former wife Wanda Tuggle (Peavie); his son David Marshall Tuggle II; his siblings, Lloyd Tuggle, Barbara Murphy, Bonnie Thompson, Carolyn Perdue and Brenda Tuggle; and his brothers-in-law, Burnal "Spud" Murphy and Tom Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Tuggle (Houser); his son James Michael Tuggle; his stepchildren, Brian Supinger (Alaina), Amy Reed (David) and Alycia Turner (Jack); his grandchildren, Garit Tuggle (Brook Blankenship), Max Tuggle, Lorelai Tuggle, Ethan Supinger, Kaidan Supinger, Brynlee Supinger, Jordyn Bourne (Jordan), Olivia Turner (Derek Davis), Madisyn Reed and Trey Turner; his great grandchildren, Myra, Maddox and McKenna; and his siblings, Rex Tuggle (Mable) and Mary Ann Nunley.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
