Though Barbara may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Othel E. Shuler and Lora B. Shuler; her husband Dr. Thomas Shaver; her son Jonathan; and her brother Clark.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Kimberly Shaver-Hood (Michele) of Buzzards Bay, MA., Kristin Manning (Edward) and Daniel Shaver of Camden, Indiana. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moster Mortuary (334 N Main St, Rushville, IN 46173). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Barbara's memory will be happily accepted by Rushville Elementary School.
