Robert L. Wideman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Wideman of New Carlisle, Indiana, who passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wideman and Ruth Wideman (Wallace); and his wife Jeanette Stombaugh. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Lenig (Steve) of New Carlisle, Trudy Wahl (Ken) of Sebree, KY and Judy Holse (Bob Smith) of New Carlisle; and his grandchildren, Justin Lenig (Jama) of New Carlisle, Bryan Lenig (Donielle) of New Carlisle, Jolene Buettner (Austin) of Owensboro, KY, Ben Holse (Jenna) of Lansing, MI and Rusty Holse (Mandi Steffey) of Elkhart. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church (3444 US-20, Rolling Prairie, IN 46371). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Rolling Prairie Lions Club or the Kankakee Twp.
