He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Jones and Patsy Jones (Ashmore); his wife Rose Mitchell; his daughter Amanda Jones; and his sisters, Helen Barlow (Jones), Delsie Ewing (Jones), Debbie Holcomb (Ashmore), Sandy Byram (Banes), Becky Haney (Banes) and Jenny Wilson (Jones).
He is survived by: his children, Katrina Zinn (Michael) of South Bend, Robert Mattisits (Jill) and Chris Beehler (Deaja) of New Carlisle; his stepchildren, Casey, Jessie, Brad Mitchell and Tressa Benner (Mitchell); his brothers, Jim Banes, Ted Jones and Kenny Jones; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
