Nora J. Davis Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2024, at the age of 104, Nora J. Davis of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nora J. Davis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter C. Burks and Audrey Claire Burks (McDaniel); her husband Lyle Edward Davis; her daughter Rita Lloyd; and her siblings, Ruby Richardson, Annitta Hisaw, Ruth Starkweather, Vena Watson, Clifford, Paul and Harold Burks.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Jones (Jim) of Sawyer, MI, Donna Swank (Ed) of New Carlisle, Marvin Davis of Depo Bay, OR and Charles H. Davis (Barb) of New Carlisle; and her siblings, Lois "Susie" Heckman of Lakeville, IN, Jerry Burks of Osceola, IN, Richard Burks (Carole) of South Bend and John Burks (Faye) of Heflin, AL. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kaniewski Funeral Home (201 S Filbert St, New Carlisle, IN 46552). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
