Emmette Higgins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emmette Higgins of New Carlisle, Indiana, who passed away on December 21, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Higgins and Jeanette L. Higgins (Andrews); and his siblings, Roger Higgins, Cathy Higgins and Katie Knighton (Higgins).
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie L. Higgins; his children, Emmett Reginald Higgins, Jr. (Cathy) of Alpharetta, GA, John Higgins (Julie) of La Porte, IN, Alex Higgins of Milwaukee, WI and Deborah Spoor (Higgins) of La Porte, IN.; and his siblings, Ross Higgins (Loretta) of Conway, AR and Lanelle Tate (Jimmy) of Pontotoc, MS.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
