He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bartmess and Vera Bartmess (Darling); his father-in-law Burt Mickelson; his siblings-in-law, Amanda Freeman and Harry McClaran; his nephew Adam Bartmess; and his niece Melissa Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Mickelson; his siblings, Susan McClaran, William Bartmess (Julie) and Marie Dodd; his stepsons, David Briner (Jodi), Derik Williamson (Jamie) and Robert Buck (Jessica); his mother-in-law Mary Ann Petro; and his sister-in-law Annie Prentkowski (Eddie). He is also survived by many loving Nieces and Nephews and Step Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the American Legion Post 297 in his honor.
