She was predeceased by: her father Gilbert Garner; her grandparents, Mattie L. Hunter, Nance Slaughter and William D. Hunter; and her aunts and uncles, Mable, Thelma, Alberta, Wilbert, William and Ernie.

She is survived by: her mother Mattie B. Hunter of Cameron, MJ; and her friends, Pam Bruner and Dee Prellwitz.
