Evans of New Albany, Indiana, born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Evans and Hortense Evans; and his siblings, Robert, Sidney and James Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores "Dody"; his grandchildren, Jennifer Glas (Marshall Reinhart), Andrew Wilburn, Evan Wilburn (Tabor) and Daniel Wilburn; and his siblings, John Evans (Carol), Ronald Evans and Judy McDaniel. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
