Wanda Kay Shepherd Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2024, at the age of 74, Wanda Kay Shepherd (New Albany, Indiana), born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Shepherd and Verla Shepherd (Jones); and her son-in-law Jary Herrington. She is survived by: her children, Jefferson Atkins (Ramona) and Tessa Herrington; her grandchildren, Alex Atkins (Robyn), Ashley Workman, Zane Humphrey and Cerek Herrington; and her great grandchildren, Krista, Alex and Arius Atkins.
Because Wanda loved animals so much, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, friends and family wishing to extend condolences donate to ASPCA, J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter, or an animal rescue charity of the donor's choice, in Wanda's name.
