He was predeceased by: his father Walter E. Cook, Sr.; his stepfather Bud Zwicker; and his brother-in-law Tony Metcalf. He is survived by: his wife Fay Cook; his children, Chris Cook, Sondra Cook and Nathaniel Cook; his grandchildren, Lydia Cook and Gunnar Martin; his mother Shirley Zwicker; his siblings, Donnie Cook and Donna Metcalf; and his stepmother Patricia Cook. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150).
