He was predeceased by: his mother Jane Abney; and his brother William Abney. He is survived by: his father Paul Abney; his wife Tammy Burns; his stepson Cody Burns; his siblings, Cynthia Satterly and James Abney; his brother-in-law Robert Cook; his nieces, Mary Beth McConnell, Gabriella Abney, Elizabeth Butcher (Chris) and Adalyn Cook; his nephew Tyler McConnell; his great-nephews, Christopher Butcher and Latham McConnell; and his pet Ally. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
