It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tiajuana Kaye Simmons of New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Simmons, Jr. and Florence Williams Simmons; and her brothers, Rev. William H. Simmons III and Ricky Simmons. She is survived by: her son Kelvin Simmons; her niece Princess (Angel); her siblings, Ronald Simmons (Shirley) and Yolanda Simmons; and her sisters-in-law, Sarah Simmons and Wilma Simmons. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Shively, KY 40216). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216).
In honor of Tiajuana's memory, the family kindly requests donations be made toward the future education of her three granddaughters.
