He is survived by: his wife June Kochert (Tanner); his children, Brian Kochert (Laura) and Elizabeth Kochert; his granddaughter Emma Dawn Kochert; and his siblings, Lawrence Kochert (Barbara Ann), Ronald Kochert (Marty) and Jane Timberlake (Doug). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1752 Scheller Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park (2778 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150).
