She was predeceased by: her mother Mary; her husband Lee Roy Hemingway; and her siblings, Tootsie, Ramona, Dorthy, Rudell, Tommy and Joe.
She is survived by: her son Merle Frank Smith Jr.; her daughter-in-law Doris Smith; her grandchildren, Shawn (Claudia), Matt (Stacie), April, Brooklyn, Bronxton, Tristin, Hannah, Bella and Violet; and her sister Laverne Byers. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
