She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hurst and Viola Lyen; her daughter Cindy Bowman; her former husband Reginald Phillips; her stepfather Keith Lyen; her grandparents, Rose Blankenbaker Hurst, Otis Hurst, Louis F. Murry and Grace Thomas; her brother John Dailey, Jr.; and her uncle Louis Murry.
She is survived by: her husband Michael S. Kelly; her daughters, Lynne Mayfield (Scott) and Kimberly Bauerla (Greg); her grandchildren, Kyle Bowman (Chrissy), Tyler Kempf (Gina), Lindsay Bowman, Thomas Kempf (Amanda) and Abby Rose Bauerla; her great grandchildren, Grace Kempf, Cayedence Bowman, Liam Kempf, Selah Bowman, Monroe Kempf and Colin Kempf; and her siblings, Ronald Hurst (Barbara), Marti Hutt (Joseph) and Arleen Koontz (Kent). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kraft Funeral Service (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at the Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150).
