She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Barbour-Cherry and Juel Barbour-Cherry (John Lewis Hardin); her daughter Juel Elizabeth Hardin; her siblings, Wanda Cherry, Charlotte Grace and William "Squenche" Edward Cherry; her niece Pamela Newton; and her nephew Gene Cherry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Hardin, Linda Hardin, Wanda Hardin and Johnetta Hardin; her grandchildren, Doneiska Hardin, Rae'Shonda Davis, Braylin Hardin and Perion Sharp; her great grandchild Sy'er Hardin; her siblings, Alvilda Jones and Melvin Cherry; and her niece Mo'sha Myles-Harris.
