He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ewing, Jr. and Alta Turner; his sons, Thomas Elbert Ewing and Robert "Robby" Ewing; and his sister Teresa Potts.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ewing; his daughters, Julie Ewing, Anita Cambron (Todd Hinz), Crystal Matherly (Darin) and Roxanne Isaac; his grandchildren, Tristen Brown (Veronda), Charles Rice, Kalyn Rice, Joshua Matherly, Madyson Matherly, Gwendolyn Matherly, Autumn Sanchez Bazan (Isaac), Rosie Sanchez and Gabriel Isaac; and his great grandchild Brynnleigh Brown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
