He was predeceased by: his parents, Vic Gunterman and Jane Gunterman (Stovall); his son Nelson Tyler Gunterman; and his sisters, Linda Kay Gunterman and Sallie Grim.

He is survived by: his son Ryan Gunterman; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Gunterman; his granddaughters, Hazel and Everly; and his friend Elaine Murphy.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kraft Funeral Service (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150).
