He was predeceased by: his father Harold Hurst; and his grandson Evan Hollkamp. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hurst; his children, Carrie Hollkamp (Jeff), Kyla James (Scott), Casey Hurst (Melinda) and Cory Hurst; his siblings, Warren Hurst and Elaine Seitz; his grandchildren, Grant Hollkamp, Ella, Maya and Carter Hurst; and his pet Mia.
