Patrick M. Houghlin Obituary
Patrick 'Pat' M. Houghlin, age 71, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. Pat was born in New Albany, Indiana on August 20, 1951 to the late James E. 'Pat' and Mary Mattingly Houghlin. Pat was a member of Greenville Masonic Lodge #416 and St. Mary's Navilleton Catholic Church. He retired as the Executive Vice President and COO of Automotive Products Division of Hitachi Cable Indiana. Pat was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, duck hunting, gardening, woodworking, and riding his Harley Davidson. Along with his parents, Pat was preceded in death by his siblings, Jimmy Houghlin and Francis Briles.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patty Payne Houghlin; daughters, Amanda Johnson (Jason), Abbey Houghlin (Joseph Seidt); grandsons, Max, Jack, and Levi Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Pat will be held Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM.
