She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Varner and Carrie Barker; and her husband David M. Seiferid. She is survived by: her daughter Shelly Whelan (Brian); and her grandchildren, Bella and Carter Whelan.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kraft Funeral Service (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150).
