It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Naomi Catherine Hays of New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kiesler and Alma Kiesler (Roberts). She is survived by: her son Patrick Hays (Angela) of Columbia, MD; her great grandchild Eden Jonathan Hays; her siblings, Viola Branham of Frankfort, KY, Jim Kiesler (Catherine) of Lafayette, LA, Bob Kiesler (Louise) of Evansville, IN and Don Kiesler of Naples, FL.; and her niece Cheri Graham. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews and all their children.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Naomi's name to your local library, PBS, or NPR station in her memory. Naomi's legacy will live on through the impact of these donations on the community she cherished.
