With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Max A Petry in New Albany, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. Petry and Mary Lou Petry (Tiefel); his brothers, Robert, Donald and Merrill Gene Petry; and his pet Winnie.
He is survived by: his wife Lavonne Petry (Roark); his son Patrick (Anna); and his granddaughters, Emery and Eloise.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oak Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes (1846 E Oak St, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
