She was predeceased by: her parents, James Newton and Violet Newton (Brown); her husband Walton Delray Coffey; her son Ronney Coffey; her daughter-in-law Pamela Coffey; and her siblings, Elizabeth Snider, Albert, Owen and Billy Newton.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Coffey (Cathy), Jim Coffey, Mark Coffey (Tricia) and Lisa Coffey; her granddaughters, Brittany Ross (Michael), Ashleigh Brohm (Chad) and Grace Coffey; her great grandchildren, Eliot, Molly Ross, Kinsleigh, Ava and Isla Brohm; her sisters, Lorene Tucker and Janelle Leisure; and her pet Shadow. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marilyn's memory may be made to Parkway Southern Baptist Church (2508 Corydon Pike, New Albany), Southern Care Hospice Services (3602 Northgate Court, Suite 27, New Albany), or the Alzheimer's Association.
