With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lola Jean Dannenfelser of New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on June 29, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Bays and Bertha C. Bays (Bentley); her husband Roger Allan Dannenfelser; her siblings, Helen Hubler (Victor), Charlene R. Rothenberger (Boyd), John R. Bays, Jr., Raymond D. Bays (Gail) and Robert L. Bays (Gretchen); and her brother-in-law Joseph Dannenfelser (Gloria).
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Ann Gillespie (Drew) of Fishers, Indiana and Randal A. Dannenfelser (Camila) of Columbus, Ohio; her sister Patricia A. Everly (Jerry) of Tampa, Florida; her grandchildren, Janessa L. Dannenfelser of Columbus, Scott L. Gillespie (Rachel) of Fishers, Melinda L. Dannenfelser (Mike Sinkovic) of Columbus and Shannon I. McDonald (Parker) of Spartanburg; her great grandchildren, Elaina Nicole Gillespie, Elijah Scott Gillespie, Jacob Bradley Gillespie of Fishers and Andersen Ruth McDonald of Spartanburg; and her brother-in-law Sandy Dannenfelser (Phyllis) of New Albany, Indiana. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
