It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Persinger (New Albany, Indiana), born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on April 2, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Persinger and Mary Persinger; and his brothers-in-law, Kevin Hammersmith and Dick Roush. He is survived by: his wife Tamyra "Tammy" Persinger (Hammersmith); his children, Jacob Cunningham (Kristin), Jessica Persinger and Gretchen Krammes (Kellen); his grandchildren, Luke, Koen and Aden Krammes; and his siblings, Edward Persinger (Kathy), Michael Persinger (Cheryl), Jean Roush, Susie Thomas (Fred) and Barbara Saunders (Jerry).
Expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations in Lloyd's name to the American Cancer Society, or the Floyd County Parks and Recreation Department.
