She was predeceased by: her parents, Norval Aleson and Marian Aleson (Gresbrink); her husband Don Chew; her siblings, Betty and Bob; and her sisters-in-law, Carol and Karen.

She is survived by: her children, Kari Czachor (Brad), Scott Slavik and Michael Chew (Janelle); and her siblings, Jim, David (Susan), Doug Aleson (Carol) and Barb Shakal (Carl). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.

Contributions in Kay's memory may be made to Catalyst Catholic Youth Ministry (101 St. Anthony Drive, Mt. St. Francis, IN 47146).
