Kathryn Jenkins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Jenkins (New Albany, Indiana), who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Russell and Ralph Russell; and her husband Dennis Jenkins. She is survived by: her children, Julie Heidbreder (Hudson), Brian Jenkins (Jessica) and Mark Jenkins (Stacy); her grandchildren, Dalton Jenkins, Tanner Jenkins, Mackenzie Cunningham (Ben), Wesley Jenkins, Zachary Heidbreder, Jake Heidbreder and Jenna Heidbreder; and her sister Kristy Tarwater (John).
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 8:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150).
The family requests that contributions in Kathryn's memory be made to the Samaritan's Purse or the Wounded Warrior Project.
