She is survived by: her husband Arlen Payne; her children, Greg Payne (Laura) and Kim Ferber (Mike); her grandchildren, Matt Payne, Bri Payne, Jessie Payne, Milynn Ferber, Mariah Brewer (Riley) and Marlea Ferber; her great grandchildren, Liam Faske and Lux Miller; and her brother Kevin Haub (Paula).

Expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations in Karen's name to the Parkinson's Foundation.
