He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kahl and Christina Burden Kahl; his wife Sheila Kahl; and his brothers, Rodger and Terry Kahl.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shelly Nakken (Jeff) and Jennifer Burton (Shawn); his close friend Carol Parson; his siblings, Gwin Kahl (Judy), Gwen Farnsley (Steve), David Kahl (Lisa), Robert Kahl (Chris), Mickey Kahl (Pam), Kathy Litch (Richard) and Diane Kahl (Dewayne); his brother-in-law Leroy Berryman (Edie); his grandchildren, Makenna, Kaytlin, Cole, Jacob, Tyler, Kellsie, Sarah, Josh, Brynden, Blaine and Jake; and his great grandchild Gatlin Matthew.
