He is survived by: his wife Jackie Novotny Amend; his son Jack Amend; his siblings, Jayme Amend (Cher), Judy Morrissey (Rick) and Jodette Fox (Rex); his sisters-in-law, Cindy Schneringer (Joe) and Debbie Cahill (Brian); and his parents-in-law, Deborah Cecil and Dennis Novotny (Connie Sue). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
