She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Leavitt and Maureen Leavitt of Parkersburg; her husband Edward Burkhead; her son Brian; and her siblings, Charlotte Palmer, Marilyn Rivers and Carr Leavitt.
She is survived by: her daughter Paula Johnson (Steven); her granddaughters, Nicole Hartman, Sarah Johnson, Natalie Hartman and Katherine Johnson; and her sister-in-law Priscilla Leavitt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
