We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2023, at the age of 82, James Forrest McIntyre of New Albany, Indiana, born in Shelby, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Floyd McIntyre and Kathleen McIntyre (Harrill); his former wife Eva McIntyre (Reeb); his brothers, Benjamin McIntyre and Don McIntyre; and his daughter Petra Krause.
He is survived by: his wife Lore McIntyre (Sonner); his children, Donna Whelan (Craig) of Corydon, Frank McIntyre of Bretzenheim, Germany and Stefan Sonner (Heather) of Lanesville; his sister Becky Neill of Troutman; his grandchildren, Craig Whelan, Katlyn Welch (Stephen), Heidi Mauck (Craig), Nikki Davis (Robert), Robby Ward (Erica), Peyton Sonner and Morgan Sonner; his great grandchild Tanner Davis; and his friends, Jim and Lore.
