She was predeceased by: her birth mother Jeanna Gayle Howard; her nephew Kain Micheal Pickford; and her son Alonzo Athen Gatewood. She is survived by: her son Detrick Bruce Alonzo Trea (Tori Bryant); her grandchildren, Leontay "Diddles" Bruce, Asani Mae and Onyx Rose; and her sisters, Yalanda Gatewood, Stephanie Lamer, Jennie Crask and Tracie Shofner.
