She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Howard Maxwell; and her parents, Paul Rasmussen and Betty Rasmussen (Thomson). She is survived by: her brother Denny Rasmussen; her nieces and nephews, Linda, Jenni Heisler, Ned Heisler and Kurt Heisler (Karen); her great-nephews, Garrett and Connor Heisler; her great-niece Hallie Heisler; and her cousins, Judy Wasson (Rasmussen), George Rasmussen, Jane Main, Ron and Ken Donaldson.

Her contributions to animal welfare and her community were immeasurable.
