She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Akers and Ruby Akers; her husband Arnold Conaway; and her siblings, Marvin Akers (Polly) and Fayetta Burns (Paul) of Borden.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Martin (Diane) of Borden, Garry Martin (Barbara) of New Albany, Jack Thomas (Anita) of Borden and Anita Dudley (Roger) of Sellersburg. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren; various cousins, nieces and nephews.
