With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Dwight James of New Albany, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 61. He was predeceased by: his brother Duane Obremski; and his grandson Iziah James. He is survived by: his parents, Gerald James and Sharon Coombs; his spouse Lara James; his children, Jeremy Schneider, Jerry James III, Travis Doss, Nick James, Farrah James, Kristian James, Savannah Miller and Makenzie Pitts; his siblings, Josh James, Travis Obremski, Michael Obremski, Matt Obremski, Rita James and Kelly Dennis; and his former wife Sabrina James.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Hwy 311, Sellersburg, IN 47172).
