Though Evelyn Sue may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evelyn Sue touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Taylor and Sibbie Eads Taylor; and her son Patrick Isenberg. She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Hitner; and her daughters, Tammy Isenberg (Paula) and Lisa Simpson (Shawn). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
