It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Runnell Gilley of New Albany, Indiana, born in Edmonton, Kentucky, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Edwards and Mabel Edwards (Cummins); her spouse Evert R. Gilley; her daughter Diane Wills; her brothers, Gerald Edwards and Russell Edwards; and her half-siblings, Carol Edwards, Dorlis White and J. W. Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia King (Keith), Richard Gilley, Ronnie Gilley (Teri) and David Gilley (Margjory); and her half-siblings, Dennis Edwards and Phyllis Bray (C. G.). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
