It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith M. Hanka (New Albany, Indiana), born in Grayson, Kentucky, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rich and Susan Rich; her husband Bill Hanka; her great grandchild Maverick Hanka; and her daughter-in-law Kay Hanka.
She is survived by: her children, Charles (Vicki), Barbara Sue (Daren Striegel) of Floyds Knobs, Larry (late Kay) of Mauckport and Doug of English; her grandchildren, Julie (Greg), Aaron Rory (Morgan), Joe and Susan (Frank); and her caregivers, Chasity, Katie and Cherish.
