“I have been sitting here 3 hours with tears in my eyes, then laughing out loud trying to think what to say. I was friends with him through school and best friends through high school. He told me he was going in the Marines out of high school. He came back from training and they took an overweight kid and turned him into a Marine BEAST. We did the right thing and bought a keg of beer and pitched horseshoes all weekend. He grabbed my ankle and held me upside down with one hand. WHAT THE HAIL. JIM”
