With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Wayne Greenwell Jr. (New Albany, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his nephew Christopher Ryan Adams. He is survived by: his wife Christina Greenwell; his children, Hannah Greenwell and David W. Greenwell III; his parents, David W. Greenwell Sr. and Janice Greenwell; his sisters, Tammy Greenwell (Vernon), Angie Adams (Mitchell), Stephanie McCoy (Damon) and Stacie Greenwell (Stephen); and his nieces and nephews, Benny, Audriana, Noah, Brooke, Jade, Blake, Edith, Nora and Aurora.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral services.
