In the sacred silence of farewell, David Lee is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Chester Thompson and Sharon Marie Davenport (Roberts); and his son James David Thompson. He is survived by: his son Jeremy Thompson; and his siblings, Victoria Thompson, Beth Wiseman (Jerry), Cheryl Shanks and Jason Thompson (Heather). He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions in David's memory to be made to the Floyd County Animal Rescue League.
