He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Getz and Jane Crowell Getz; his son Jason Allen Getz; his grandson Joshua Jonathon Michael Getz; his brother John Alex Getz; and his parents-in-law, Arnold and Eula Mae Rambo.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Tatum Getz; his sons, John Manley Getz (Angie) of Fredonia and Joel Wade Getz of Kuttawa; his sisters, Mary Jane Getz of Princeton and Janis P'Pool (Ronnie) of Princeton; and his grandchildren, Carter Getz, Brittany Leigh and Krystal Angel. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Morgan's Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Princeton, KY 42445). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
