It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dan L. Parker of New Albany, Indiana, born in Bedford, Indiana, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Parker and Charles Parker; his former wife Anne Jamison Parker; his son John D. Parker; and his sister Barbara Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Eloise Richardson Parker; his son Jeffrey J. Parker (Beth); his brother David Parker (Susan); his grandchildren, Dan, Sara, Alexandra, Ross and Drew Parker; his stepchildren, Rachel Ferrazzi (Jason) and Erin Kelley (Leslie Witt); and his stepgrandchildren, Gabby, Eloise Ferrazzi, Violet Kelley and Isaiah Mickelson.
Memorial contributions may be given to: The Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the Floyd County Animal Rescue League (FCARL), a local charity or a United Methodist Church of the donor's choice.
