He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earnest Barnett and Mary Ella Barnett (Buckner); his children, Sharon Ratliff (Keith), Roger Barnett (Jodie), Charletta Woods (Arshion) and Brian Barnett (Valerie); his sister Cordelia Barnett; and his cousins, Charles Ray and Leonard Dewayne Buckner. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
