We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2024, at the age of 89, Carolyn Pierce Miller in New Albany, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pierce and Pearlee Pierce; her husband Robert Miller, Sr.; her daughter Carol Denise Miller; her siblings, J. L. Pierce, Cecil Pierce, Elizabeth Gordon, Evelyn Hall, Samuel Pierce, Geraldine Jones and Alma Jane Denney; her great grandchild Tabitha Finley; and her grandson-in-law John Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Miller, Jr. (Robin) of Jeffersonville, IN, Frances Shepherd (Larry) of New Albany, IN and Donald Miller (Teresa) of Acworth, GA; and her siblings, Lula Mae Farmer of Campbellsville, KY, Verna Jean McDaniel of Charlestown, IN and David Pierce of Charlestown, IN. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
