She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Stidd and Arvilla Stidd (Dove); her husband Maurice Wayne Pelley; her daughter Louvilla Gross; her granddaughter Michelle Pelley; her daughter-in-law Diana Pelley; and her siblings, Bea Tharp, Mildred Callahan, Chrisine Spicer, Jacqueline Deckard, Leroy, Vernon, Oakley, Glenn, Charles, Arvin, Richard and Maurice Stidd.
She is survived by: her children, Maurice Pelley (Joanne) of Martinsville, IN, Keith Pelley of Indianapolis, IN and Shirley Ackerman (Jim) of Nashville, IN; her grandchildren, Chris Pelley, Whitney Pelley, Brianna Ackerman, Amanda Morris, Candace Guant and Tiffany Franks; her great grandchildren, Ethan Jennings, Garrett Jennings, Sidney Pelley, Addison Tulley, Tanner Franks, Mary Cate Morris, Cohen Morris, Evelyn Gaunt, Oliver Gaunt and Tia Merriman; and her great great grandchild June Jennings.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center (110 E Poston Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
